Abstract

This study examined the effect of pH and incubation period on biogas production using university food waste compared with cow dung and sheep waste. Results showed cow dung produced the highest biogas yield (20ml/72hours) followed by sheep manure (15ml/72hours). Alkaline pH and anaerobic dark conditions were optimal for biogas production.
